What This Page Covers

This page explains the methods behind how LegalHelpForSenior.com works with data. It covers public data, search data, provider information, affiliate conversion data, location information, and content research. Nothing here publishes proprietary partner data.

Public Data

When we reference public datasets — such as government-published senior-service data, public legal statistics, or public government datasets — every dataset we use must have:

• Source: where the data came from, with a link where possible
• Date: when the data was published or last updated
• Geography: what area it covers (national, state, or local)
• Methodology: how the data was collected, as described by the source

We do not present a dataset as current if we cannot verify its date, and we do not mix datasets from different years or geographies without saying so.

Search Data

We may use aggregated, anonymous search-performance data (for example, from Google Search Console) to understand which topics people are looking for and where our content falls short. This data tells us what readers need — it never changes what our guides say about the law, and it never influences affiliate relationships. Search data is always kept separate from first-party analytics and from revenue reporting.

Provider Information

If we ever display information about legal service providers, it comes from a stated source and carries:

• Provider: the provider’s name
• Source: where the information came from
• Verification date: when it was last checked
• Verification status: whether it is current or flagged for re-check

Provider information that becomes outdated or unverifiable is marked as needing review and is not presented as current. We do not invent provider details, ratings, or reviews.

Affiliate Conversion Data

Affiliate conversion data (calls, inquiries, verified payouts) is used internally to operate the business — to reconcile with partners and to understand which pages genuinely help readers find providers. Key rules:

• Only verified, positive-payout, non-test conversions count as revenue.
• Phone clicks are not calls; call starts, qualified calls, conversions, and revenue are tracked as separate events.
• We do not publish proprietary affiliate data publicly unless a partner explicitly permits it.
• No real-time or partner-identifying conversion figures appear in public content.

Location Information

State and city content is published only where it passes our quality gates: real, specific, verifiable information about that location. Locations without genuine substance stay unpublished. Each published location page is checked for jurisdiction accuracy — Florida and Miami are currently the only published locations — and is re-checked when sources change. We do not mass-publish thin location pages.

Content Research

Our editorial process is documented in our editorial policy: how topics are selected, how sources are chosen (government and official sources first), how claims are verified, and how corrections are handled. Every article lists its sources so readers can check our work, and “last reviewed” dates change only when content is genuinely reviewed or revised.
