Privacy Policy

This policy describes our practices in plain language. It has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel, and we intend to have it reviewed before launch.

The Short Version

We collect the minimum information needed to run the site: what you type into our forms, anonymous usage analytics only if you opt in, and anonymous records of affiliate link and call-button clicks.
We do not record phone calls. Tapping a call button dials the provider directly from your phone; we cannot hear your conversation.
We do not sell your personal information.
You can use the site with optional analytics turned off.

Information We Collect

Information you provide — contact form: if you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, reason for writing, and message. Please do not submit sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential legal information through our forms.
Information you provide — legal-help request form: if you submit a legal-help request, we receive the details you choose to share: your first and last name, a phone number or email address, your ZIP code, the legal issue you select, an optional description, and a record that you consented to be contacted. This information is used to connect you with a participating provider and for no other purpose.
Consent preferences: your cookie choices (necessary / analytics) are stored in your own browser (local storage) so we remember them. They are not sent to us.
Analytics — only with your opt-in: if you accept the analytics category in our cookie banner, we collect aggregate usage information — pages visited, buttons clicked, and scroll depth — using (a) Google Analytics 4, only when a measurement ID is configured by the site operator, and (b) our own first-party event log. This uses an anonymous visitor identifier stored in your browser; it is not linked to your name or contact details. If you decline, no analytics data is collected at all.
Affiliate interactions: when you click an affiliate link (including links that start with /go/), our server records an anonymous click record (an anonymous click ID, the page and placement, and the offer) so we can operate the service and attribute referrals. When you tap a call button, we record that the click happened (not the content of any phone call). These records are part of providing the requested redirect or call service.
Call attribution: the phone number shown on a call button may be a call-tracking number assigned to the participating provider so the referral can be attributed; it connects you to the same provider. We may receive anonymous call metadata from a participating provider (for example, that a call occurred) through a secured provider webhook for commission verification. We do not record phone calls, we do not monitor call audio, and we never receive the content of your conversations. Call recording is disabled in our configuration and can only be enabled by an explicit operator decision that also sets a retention period and a consent configuration; any such change would be disclosed here before it takes effect.
Site search: our site search runs entirely in your browser against a public content index. Your search queries are not logged on our servers.
Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical data (such as browser type and pages visited) for security and operations. For rate limiting and abuse prevention, we store only SHA-256 hashes of client identifiers — raw IP addresses are never stored by our rate limiter.

How We Use It

We use information to operate the website, respond to messages you send us, connect you with participating providers when you ask us to, and understand (in aggregate, and only with your consent) how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information.

What We Don’t Collect

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, medical records, or other sensitive identifiers. Please do not include them in messages or forms. Our lead form rejects submissions that look like they contain Social Security or payment-card numbers.

We share information only as needed to operate the site:

Hosting: with our hosting provider (Cloudflare) as needed to serve the site.
Analytics: with Google Analytics 4, only if you opted into analytics and a measurement ID is configured.
Participating providers: when you submit a legal-help request or call a displayed number, the relevant provider receives the contact details you provided so they can respond to you. Providers are independent and have their own privacy policies.
Provider webhooks: participating networks may send us conversion metadata (event type, anonymous click ID, payout amount) through authenticated webhooks. These contain no call audio and no message content.
Legal: when required by law.

We do not share contact-form messages or lead details with advertisers or lead buyers beyond the participating provider you asked to hear from.

Your Choices

You can browse most of the site without providing any personal information.
You can decline optional analytics and still use the site fully.
Change your cookie choices anytime via Cookie Settings in the footer.
To ask about, correct, or delete information you sent us, contact us. Deletion requests are handled through our internal privacy workflow and recorded for accountability.

Data Retention

Contact messages: kept for up to 2 years (configurable by the site operator) so we can respond and maintain service records, then deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Legal-help requests (leads): retained per the operator’s configured retention schedule for business and legal records; you may request deletion of your personal details at any time.
Analytics events: aggregate analytics data is retained for up to 26 months.
Affiliate click and conversion records: retained per the operator’s configured schedule for commission verification and fraud prevention.
Consent preferences: live only in your browser and can be cleared there.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect information, including secure connections (HTTPS), rate-limited forms, honeypot spam protection, hashed abuse-prevention identifiers, and limited data retention. Admin access requires authentication and is fully audit-logged. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and post the revised version here.
